Which network provider for Blackberry internet plan ???

Hi all

I needed to know which service provider should I go for since I am planning to opt for a BB lite plan which costs 300 on nearly all major service providers.

Are there any other plans which could be better VFM that I could go for?

Unless you plan on only using it once or twice a month for a few miutes, I would advise you don't go for the lite plan. The limit AFAIk is 500kb, whcih needlessly to say is pathetic. After that you are charged. Go for the full plan or don't go BB at all.

Well AFAIK, 300 plan can be used for unlimited email and IM. You won't be able to surf though.

Airtel is best if you want BIS plan.....
Its the only carrier giving BIS service @Rs 300 in prepaid.....

Yea but that is only email and IM . No browsing on the plan ..

I am using airtel 299 plan on postpaid and i am happy with the same , not interested in browsing so do not have any issues with the same.

you can choose airtel prepaid BIS plan@299 and subscribe to GPRS plan to surf net...There`s a little trick to activate it..

I am using same on my BB 8830

^ So what is the trick ? I got GRPS activated .. changed the APN . My Facebook is now working .. can't get the browser to work though .. I guess I ll have to replace the service books ?

i have 2 postpaid sim's as of now .

Idea & Vodafone .

I am confused with which network provider should i go for BIS ?

And also , i ma confused regarding BIS full or BIS lite ??

Anybody got any idea , what are the internet speeds in BIS FULL plan ?

I'm personally using vodafone bb prepaid.

Even I have a similar dilemma.. Want to go for lite if I could get some help in activating gprs otherwise as Udayrulz and m.Khurana have already done. Please throw some light on how to go about activating the same

TRY adding APN in settings ..If it wrks then gud otherwise load service buks

Cudnt work out the settings on BIS lite for internet browsing etc. Stuck without any internet.

Heard Tata Indicom is providing a 399 postpaid plan for BB. I'm planning to switch service providers when this service is launched.
