Which pdf editor to buy

I needed one a while back, I used https://smallpdf.com . The free version does a lot, including appending files, notating, compression, etc. Unless it's confidential information you don't want to upload or need advanced features that aren't free, I'd suggest just use that one.

Hey thanks for this , i really thought it could be a scam software but the reviews from trusted websites convinced me to try it and it really works . not sure what they gain by offering such a nice tool for free

Traced with Wireshark, indeed seems to be transferring some data over tls 1.2 / 1.3.
But, was not able to see the encrypted content.
Now wondering how to sandbox it, will need to check further.

Probably checking update status as mentioned by manohar5321, still good to sandbox.
