Which service provider to choose for data connectivity in Bangalore?

I'm switching from CDMA to GSM?

I had used airtel in 2008-2009 here in Bangalore, it was good for the purpose of making calls, good reception with good signal most of the places, however I've no idea on the internet part.

So Bangalore people can suggest me a good one, which has preferably unlimited data plans at cheap rates, I would not like to spend more than Rs.200-300 per month just for browsing :p

I had PM supra 2-3 times, but I guess he gets a lot of pm's that might have missed mine :S
 
Unfortunately for Rs 200-300 you can get the Docomo 2G EDGE 6GB @ Rs 95 or Vodafone 4Gb at Rs 95.

Vodafone has the best n/w hands down in Karnataka :)...EDGE speeds are lower than Airtel/Docomo though....but you will get 80-100 kbps average anywhere u go in Blore reliably.

If its just for browsing though and 1GB is enough go for BSNL 3G at arnd 300 bucks for 1GB data....but its way better to get the 6 months UL at Rs 4200....awesome portability everywhere you go + UL 3G
 
80-100 kbps means 10-1 kBps, right? that's what you meant?

1GB looks less, android eats up a lot of data :S

How are other's 3G tarrif? I guess not comparable to BSNL :p
