Which Software for making Newsletters

Wanted to know which is the best software for creating newsletters. These will sent as e-mailers hence it should be easy to import the final layout into an email message.

I have MS - Publisher with me (though i have not worked with it all) but am looking for better alternatives.
 
afaik, email newsletters are just html pages. so any html software should work fine. the paid email programs have inbuilt mailer making option in them. what software are you using to mail?

Keep in mind, if you use external program, you need to copy the code and paste into the email software to make it work. also images need to be linked from a personal server. embedding them wont work, and linking from external sites wont work.

I use Microsoft outlook 2010 as the email program. I shall try to make the newsletter in word save it as html and then test it.

In the mean time if there are any more suggestions please keep it coming.
