Which sound card?

The best deal as of now is Asus Xonar DX..........:hap2:
It performs very good in XP as well as Vista....:)
it's $90 only..so you will save a bit for ur headphones too.........:clap:

Xonar will give you the ability to turn EAX 5 effects on but no DTS. Xplosion will give DTS but no EAX stuff.

It depends on what your primary usage will be. For me DTS wasn't that important.

I hope, there is nothing wrong in not knowing a dealer. :) That too you guys have given a short name to his id :bleh: , how a member who has not visited dealers section will know who is KMD?? :P

+1 for the Sonar. Haven't tried it but ordered 3 thru kmd after going thru posts here on TE (1 for me and 2 for friends). I had a thread regarding the DX somewhere here.
