Which standard zoom lens?

I am looking out for a Standard zoom lens not sure if its called that, I basically want a lens for normal walk around shots. So which do you suggest ? I was looking at the :-
a) Sigma 18-50 mm f/2.8-4.5 DC OS HSM
b) Sigma 18-50mm F2.8 EX DC Macro HSM
c) Nikkor AF-S 18-55mm Lens VR

My Budget is 20,000 and i will be using this along with a D90. The main priority is having f/2.8. Other than that just the most BFB lens. So please suggest which one to buy also if you think something is better than this then please tell me.

tamron 17-50 f2.8 is the answer

from what i read on this forum, the VC (vibe-cancelling) version is more expensive, and has slightly worse optics than the non-VC version.

take your pick amongst the 2.

Yeah... 17-50mm f/2.8 is worth purchase..

BTW, what lenses do you have at present...

This is my first. I ordered only the D90 body....and am going to pare it with this lens

If this is so, Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 is best choice for U...

However, not much idea if NON VC or VC version is better...

i think VC is not needed in this range, but thats just me
