Which Stereo + Amp Setup??

Hey guys, i auditioned a few stereo systems, both bookshelves n floor standing..
Budget is strictly at 20~22k.
Shortlisted these, please help me decide
Mordaunt Short Avant 904i(902i with the cabinet) @ 14k
Mordaunt Short Avant 902i @ 11k
Wharfedale Diamond 9.1 @ 13k
Wharfedale Diamond 9.2 @ 16k
Jamo S 406 Floor Standers at 14k
What can i do with the amp? need only a stereo setup, please advice me on the same. The Avant 904i sounded the best overall but with low end lacking a bit compared to the diamond 9.1 n 9.2...
Will pick these up tomorrow or maybe today, as the Mordaunt Short is readily availabe at the dealer... Also pls do lemme know if the pricing is high.
 
dude go for Wharfedale 9.1 and yamaha amp( dont remember model number) its sexy better than norge , both are gonna come upto 25K( Including wiring ,credit card 2% charge), its the price in Bangalore had checked it with chaos 6 months back speakers were too good was about to pick them up, but had to moce down to chennai bocs of job:( ,right now i have MX5021

speakers(Wharfedale 9.1) were quoted 10K at Decibels,Bangalore

and amp 13K and the rest for cabling and taxes

Wharfedale diamond 9.1 is a very good bookshelf speaker, I had them for some time.
It pairs well with Norge or Pulz amp.

you can get the both for around 20k.
 
took a whole different route... got a 5.1 htib onkyo setup... model number is HT-S 3100.. the amp is pretty decent, will replace the front speakers with a pair of MS or the 9.1....

off topic: a question tat popped up in my head: a relative had bought a pair of jamo floorstanders a couple of years back for like 80k's.. an now the model uv posted here looks a lot similar.. its just tat its suprising a company makes speakers for $200(tas ta approx price for s406 in us..) an for $2000 an makes them look almost similar..

Anyways the real question how good are thes s406?? is it a good option to pair them with jamo e700 (was thinkin of buyin them for like $150) .??
 
thanks man, but i guess Chaos is better off answering that last question... but i felt the bass is lacking in the s406 when i auditioned them... theres a new model coming, the s506 is think.. the jamo dealer asked me to wait for a while.. sub 20k...

in case ur getting the s406 for 150$ then its a definite yes, coz tats a really good price..

The s406 is not great. Also the higher end E/D series and the new C series are hand made in denmark whereas the S series ones are mass produced in china.
