morning comrades,

i love to play sims 3, eurotruck simulator with all graphical options set to the maximum, bmw m3 challenge, volvo and similar racing games

i want a card that doesn't blow my power(450 watts), or should i go for an extra powered smps .

i love gaming ( a system admin playing games - simulation genre )

i am from south india / tirunelveli / southern tamilnadu

i want the pci express card to function well in windows 7( i am using it)

suse linux enterprisedesktop,mandrake/mandriva )

the hardware specifications are

western digital 160 gb harddisk

in a zebronics cobra cabinet(450 watts) .
i hope the card you recommend will be direct x 10/11 compatible

i am a microsoft,cisco trainer

don't get me into sli / cf cards

:eek:hyeah:

Nice to see someone who likes the simulation genre like I do.

BTW, 18 WOS series(Haulin) is way better than Euro truck sim.

On topic,

You haven't specified your budget !?

At the entry level, I'd recommend an ATI HD 4670 or nVidia 9600GT based card.

no financial limitation(only limitation is power - smps ( i like green) my asus is rohs certified !

.:clap::thanx:

^ is it the normal chinese type psu without and certification on it? imo change it before it kills your hdd. zebronics oem psu's are not good quality imo.

edit: since you dont have financial limitation, get a good branded psu like corsair and put it in your machine. why take chances with generic psu?

Go ahead and get a Sapphire HD 4670 for around 4.5k and a Gigabyte Superb 460 PSU for 2.2k, total 6.7k and will serve your needs very well, as long as you stay within 19" monitor in future :hap2:
