While recording i hear both my voice and the music

Here is my problem.

I hear both my voice and the music which plays aside (i mean, i am listening some songs in media player) and i tried to record something while i listen to that music. When i record, both my voice and the music getting recorded. I tried adjusting something in sound manager but, nothing worked out.
What's the matter? What should i do if i wanna get rid of both the things recording?
I want only my voice should record. And not the things i listen.(headphone)

In volume control, goto the recording section, and mute stereo mix.

one second ......do you try to hear songs from the speaker?
in this case their is every chance of speaker's sound being recorded as well!
but this must not be the case unless you are a complete noob
