Who here thinks ep2 is overrated...

Started playing EP2 yesterday and finished it yesterday... To be honest it a regular run and gun game... Nothing "great" or for that matter new about it... Also hunter becomes too easy with cars... In all EP2 was okey... Nothing special... Haven't played TF2 yet as i don't have a net connection at home...

Gonna start playing Portal again... The bonus maps... Its better then the original portal...
 
i don't know whether its overatted or not, but damn i enjoyed this game, played in the hard mode, damn fun :D

Again, i have played portal or TF2, let my exam get over.
 
haven't played ep2 as yet but i'm not expecting too much. i loved hl2 but i thought ep1 was rather boring. couldn't get myself to finish it unlike the original game where i sat for hours together until i completed it.
 
Well the game is only FUN if you play it @ you own pace and dont rush through it. . . they take a lot of effort in adding ester eggs and small details besides the main storyline that other games dont. . .making the HL experience a memorable one. . .specially this time they have added so much of humor into it which they didn't do in previous versions is really nice to see. . I think i am half way through the game and am really enjoying it. .

I have always felt that valve always balances its games with just the rite amount of thinking to do and using brute force to clear the area . .so all in all i feel HL2 : EP2 is any thing but a Run N Gun game . .
 
It came on times of india, ep2 got episode 2 out of 5 as a stand alone game. Maybe that's why valve put so many goods in one box. But honestly, they should have kept the whole episodes as hl2: some subtitle and all the rest.
 
Yes there could have been some improvements toward the game play side. Its been 2-3yrs since HL2 and episodic release has nothing different in them.

I like the classic series of HL, Blue-Shift, Opposing Force. They where different and so much better. Also all the new games from valve as meant for 5-6hrs of game play.

It would have been fun if there was some new weapon introduced in EP2, some new puzzles, or some new innovation. Half-Life game are becoming monotonous.

But Portal and TF2 was g8. I can't belive one GUN in portal made so much difference. I am 90% sure than we will get to play with Portal Gun in EP3. Yeah wait 4 1yrs nw.
