Well, I had originally not planned to include gallery mods. Coz you guys manage a totally different section. Not the main tech forum.

but then XT added you guys :P No offence meant to you guys, but I had originally planned only for TECH mods.....
 
To be very frank, I don support such kind of polls. Everyone in the staff is giving more than 100% for a good cause without any personal benefit to them. Besides, you gotta understand the fact that each one of em have been given seperate responsibilities and different things to look after. They cant ever be the same or act in a similar manner even if they want to.

While this poll may encourage some to put in more effort, it mite discourage the others at the same time. To find out they are the least favourite among members is not a very good feeling. IMHO, such kinda poll shud be avoided for the greater benefit of the community. Just my personal opinion though and i'm not here trying to play spoiled sport :P
 
hmm.... you have a point.... That is why I did not start this long back coz I got this idea many months back.

But then, I convinced myself that this is just a harmless poll.... And I wanted to make it multiple choice too.

And well, the way I feel is that people here have made it very clear that it is difficult to choose ONE mod as the best. So, I am sure that many people would have just picked one at random.

So, just coz some mods dont get as many votes does not mean that they are not liked :P

and these polls make no difference to us mods, actually it helps us pull each other's legs, ull soon know what I mean :ohyeah:
 
Well, if somebody has some personal vendetta against a particular mod, that cant be helped. but on the whole, all you guys are liked by most members.....

Would have added bu the limit for the poll was 10.

Then since I had started only with mods, XT and Eddy added the other mods as well

my vote to bosky actually.. fav mod cos he has been splendid with designing our first newsletters..
 
^ He had motherboard problems, think he's got it fixed now. Rang me up about an hour back asking for directions on changing the boot sequence for an XP install. :)

i fully agree with quickfire here.

not everyone has generous mind to accept less appreciation or criticism in their stride.

as these votes can be viewed by mods it can be misused too.

this poll reminds me of the simillar thing happened in foregone era. and the results were disastrous.

this being a community run website and forum there is no best or worst every one is part of this gathering and every one is equally responsible for joy and sorrow.

so i am staying away from this poll.

infact i am voting for removing this one from the boards.
