After looking at reviews of the 6990, if the GTX590 consists of two GTX580's then GTX590 will win but not by a large margin.

The performance premium should be high knowing nVidia.

590 = 570 SLI AFAIK so it will probably be about equal to the 6990 or perhaps unnoticeably faster by a small margin in some games.

A 580 dual card will cost around 55-65k in India, so I don't think it will ever sell a single piece
