Why doesn't TE award 'Oscars' ?

Just reading about the Academy Awards, wondering why TE can't have awards for "Thread of the Year" and "Post of the Year" . My suggestions :

Best Thread & Post,

Funniest Thread & Post

and maybe Worst/Stupidest Thread & Post.

TE owners/mods ... what say you ?

They had initiated an awards scheme.....

but deleted it too.... wonder why though

it was removed because of excessive server loads.

Incase we decide to bring it back, it will be duly announced in the announcement section.
