Hi! I have been a member of overclock.net for quite sometime now. I know most of you guys (if you visited the forum there) would find a small signature like space where you can display your pc specs so that its easy for one to assist directly instead of waiting for the person to post his specs. It also acts mostly like a show off :P. Would it be possible to implement it here?

^^As you can see your signature vs. the signature on the other forum:

- TE signature style is much more space efficient

- User gets the freedom to post his signature if he owns more than 1 rig/laptop

- Everyone on TE may not be totally into hardware and hence freedom to post anything as signature

PS: For solely Rig spec and pictures purpose, TE has a Rig Gallery which is currently under maintenance.
 
I know monitors have grown huge and the rates have come down; but still we need to conserve web page space. We had similar kind of arguments when images and stuff was reduced in TE siggy's. I dont think the mods will dig up this issue once again... am content with the current siggy scenario.
 
Do you think every normal user would know his PC specifications up to such an extent? Atleast I dont know. :)

TE has given you space to write whatever you want, this is not about PC but about many other things you are here for, may be a mobile phone. :)

So this independent way would be all right I think.
 
IMO (and I don't want to pull on this topic) its just space; use it as you like.... limitations would rather annoy people.
