why not techenclave comes with its own magazine???

hey i was jus thinking...after quad incident(article hijacking)(sorry quad didnt wanted to remind u that again).....why not techenclave comes up with its own magazine..or atlest a pdf one for net.............which it should mail to all members register with there email ids......

atlest 10 page one...with reviews...some important tech news etc...what says guys???
 
well, we are working on a news letter at the moment, the first version of it I think you have already seen.

Our first and foremost priority is to make TE more popular and self suffecient, then comes giving its members quality service and content.

Maybe sometime in the near future, TE becomes what we want it to be, we will try and venture into other mediums :)
 
Well magnet no offence to you, but running a mag is a PAIN.

I mean you gotta have a staff of atleast 30 with printing and all. And whose gonna buy apart from TE members, because for others its just like another Tech mag.
 
Not to forget, TE is a non profit organisation started and suported by computer enthusiast. No point in a mag.

I missed that. I believe TE has a news letter aldready, but this idea could be tried. I feel providing a link would be of greater benefit of TE, so atleast ppl come and visit the forums.
 
yup my point was........as i remain busy this days... and my net is of night i hardly get time to check important sections of the forum...so since i check mails i thght it will be a good idea
but newsletter is there i 4got that..........
 
We could probably have a mailer going out on regular basis based on posts. Its would also be a good thing as it would wake up memebers who have gone into hibernation for the winter.
This was a tactic which was employed when I was with CNET. The hit rate would go up.
