GeekyRanjit has deleted constructive criticisms on his youtube page. Oh well there's always techenclave. Besides, people are talking about this in facebook as well. Here's one more:

Jokes apart, he seriously needs to stop using the word "basically". He needs to brush up on his computer fundamentals before making his video. For starters, he's bringing a whole new meaning to the word "bottleneck". Mr. Techie here forgot that rams are there next to the processor for a particular reason. I can go on and on, but even in a promo one always has to be clear about the fundamental basics about computers. Its the second chapter in computer fundamentals in first year computer related bachelor degree, right after history of computers I believe.
If I was a n00b and if I believed him, that means memory kits are nothing more than a decorative item. Anyone can go on and on but there's no point.
If 1 doesn't know about it, one shouldn't do it at all. Sadly, mainstream tech media guys and most of the tech bloggers have that nasty attitude and don't really liked to be corrected, even in private. Both types of crowd is something a lot of readers avoid to even take a glance. Not because they want to but because the content seriously misguides people and they don't like to be corrected. They never want to take constructive criticisms and prefer to keep those comments which puts them in a good light. Fact is, some people get information from such sources and hence such people spread it around to people. Unfortunately, some of these people end up in the forums and spread wrong information.
Its a vicious cycle, but alas that's what happens in reality. I've seen (few times) when people put up constructive feedbacks/criticisms/doubts on anandtech and the writers do comment back. That's how people who run such blogs/news source/youtube channel should do.
