Wifi connectivity problem

I have hp laptop. When I try to connect it with my workplace wifi it gets connected but shows no Internet access. While my phone works properly with the same wifi network. And when I turn my phone Hotspot on, my laptop works with it properly. I really do not understand where the actual problem lies

Check if your organisation have MAC ID based connectivity. My organisation have done same few months back. We can connect only that device whose MAC ID is submitted to them.
