Wifi Dilema

My Local Net guy is offering Some model of netgear for 1500/- (New), I hope its a base/basic one. When I checked their webpage, I could find models based on usage, like gaming/download & chat/browse which I didn't knew about till now, I am not a heavy downloader, to the max 50gb/Month, 40gb being average, Should I go for the better one or go with the basic.

1mbps Connection
1 Lap & 1 Tab, Once in a while 2 Lap's and 1 Tab....

If you can, go for the better models and skip netgear, go for Belkin or ASUS. Belkin RMA is ver good IMO, but features are poor. ASUS features for the price is excellant, but RMA is not so good.

Also, depending on the size of your flat, decide the router, a basic one will not give coverage for a big flat.
