Wifi extender query

I have a Netgear router as my primary wireless device. My PC and mobile devices connects to via ethernet and Wifi. It got decent range and I am okay with that.

I got another old router lying around (Belkin G Wireless router Model# F5D7234-4-H V4).
My query is, can I somehow use my old router to connect my TV (via ethernet) to the primary network?

What I want is

Routers cannot be connected via ethernet due to wiring constraint.

So, is this possible? With my router? If not, what other options do I have?

PS: I don't want to invest much as this is not a must have requirement for me.
 
You say wifi extender. But your diagram of tv connected via ethernet to your belkin means you want to use the belkin as a wifi card for the tv. To configure belkin in client mode or as a wireless bridge.

Yeah, extender wasn't the correct term. Wasn't aware of bridge before.

Anyway, thanks for the info. But seems I am not in luck actually - my Belkin router is "F5D7234-4-H v4" - the last part is Version 4. And according to this link, bridging is possible in only v1 routers of that model.
My router page doesn't have any option for "Wireless Bridging" :(
 
Too bad, this is your device. Chipset changed from broadcom in v1 to atheros in v4.

Seems like you're in the market for a bridge. What do you want to stream to your tv ?

Streaming isn't a major concern - just casual stuffs when nothing to watch on TV channels and too lazy to get up to the PC. :D
Normally use DLNA to watch TV series/Movies (480p ~ 720p), pictures etc. But I will miss the network remote function - controling TV from mobile was fun and handy at times.

And nah, I will not go for any bridge. Rather I am planning to get a Raspberry Pi 2 with a USB WiFi dongle. I was trying this bridge thing, since the router was lying around.
