WiFi Issues - Unable to connect with Wifi

Hello Friends!
I am using Connect broadband with Primatel P100 ADSL2+ Modem and Belkin Wireless G router. Actually, I want to use Belkin Wireless G with Connect broadband.
As per the instructions by router installation guide, I have managed to network cables properly i.e. Modem>Router>Desktop
But Unfortunately i am not getting positive response. My router IP is 192.168.2.1 and i am getting "Request time out" while pinging it.
But when i connect my Modem directly with PC, I get reply from 192.168.1.1.
Please check the following pic and suggest me accordingly.

I think the default gateway should be 192.168.2.1 to get the response from router. Also you should have an IP address in the range 192.168.2.x . Do you use dialer to connect Internet ?

You've got your PC set to a static IP of 192.168.1.33 which is the reason why it can't communicate with the router when you connect it to the router. Change the setting to Obtain an IP Automatically and you should be able to communicate with your router. Is your net connection a DSL connection?

Belkin router has an inbuilt DHCP that gives you an IP address automatically. Like Edrill said, change the setting to "Obtain an IP address automatically" for each and every device you connect to the internet. You'll have no problems.

note down those IPs you have posted in 1st post.

those will be required to setup connection i your router if your ISP demands an IP based authentication.

as for your computer (and any other client to the router is concerned), leave it to automatic.

Apart from above , If your ip has mech id association, then you may have to call broadband guys to remove your mech id integration to use your router

its MAC id

not necessary to call them and to ask to release mac.

routers have an option to replicate mac on your lan adapter, if that is not available then the connection wizard itself will allow you to set your lan card's mac for the connection wizard.
