WiFi, Modem/ Router, Suggest what to buy

I was looking for to buy a WiFi, Modem/Router for connecting my BSNL BB, (Chennai). My modem provided by the provider conked off.

What i need the device to do is..
* Wifi Support for Laptop, tablet.
* Connect to Desktop
* Ocassionally connect to the Modem/Router through LAN Cable (Not compulsory for additional ports though, but an added choic though.)

I dont need a wide coverage area as its a 1BHk studio appt. I am looking for something on lighter side of budget.

You can go for TPlink if you are looking for cheap and best adsl wifi router. I think you can get the 8951nd or the 8961nd (dual antenna so a bit expensive). But stability wise i dont know which one would be a wise decision.

Let the others (preferrably TPlink owners) throw some light...
