i think you're looking for an extender, it depends on the parent router you're using, it has to be compatible

Currently have TP Link Archer C6

as far as I know the C6 is a mesh router, you need a ac1200 extender like the tp link re305 (it was on the classifieds a couple of weeks ago) should set you back around 2k
