I don't believe anything out of Sony's mouth, what with all the silly things they have been saying, and all the backtracking they've done... I'll believe them when I see the 6 million - 1th console roll out.
For all we know, this is just something meant to keep fans from getting pissed off with availability and going with some other console/computer option. This may just be misinformation.
