guys ,does anybody have an idea when this sweet console launches in india?and at what price?

i absolutely love this new concept of dual screens by nintendo, their motto of gameplay and fun over graphics make sense to me now..

anyway, the one and only thing i dislike about this console is that ,quite stupidly, wii u doesn't play any user loaded videos at all(and here I was hoping for video and audio streaming to the gamepad, this would have been so sweet!!) ,talk about missed opportunities.
although,i am 99.9% certain nintendo will add this streaming and playing capability withing months through 1 or 2 odd updates, but in case they don't then i don't see how the wii u is supposed to be the compelte home-entertainment system(and in case they do,i would like to know what they were smoking to let wii u ship without this capability present straight out-of-the-box).

Also, the controller options are really confusing this time around, for no one controller supports 'all'('all' here would mean all the wii u games + the virtual console games/wii games),as a rule of thumb i would really advice everyone to get the wii remote with the wii u unit, for the gamepad is not compatible with the virtual console games and on a more personal note,i don't think quickly hurling around the gamepad for new motion games is going to be easy(or fun).

Other than the aforementioned grouch(es), i am really looking forward to the unique experiences the wii u will deliver(in time).

already the wii u is enabling experiences on the current third party ports that one really can't get out of the ps3 or xbox.and i also know there have been worries about the wii u's hardware not being enough,to people creating irrational paranoia about this i would like to point out that ,Firstly:the supposed specs have been released by an untrustworthy and unreliable person who may as well be faking it for getting some international fame.
and secondly:even going by these specs, the only "problem" one can make out is that the processor is 'maybe' not 'that' powerful, one can't really say how powerful it is as it is already comfortably running ps3 or xbox ports.so the real 'fact' is that at least the gpu is much more powerful than the one's in current gen consoles(and also supports DX10 effects, not really 'revolutionary' but certainly a step up from the current crop),there is ample RAM for Big maps and textures and hopefully improved draw distances,so we can expect games that are really better looking than the current leaders like uc3 over the consoles lifetime.(most probably the ps4 and the nexbox will beat the holy crap out of wii u in terms of graphics and scope, but most probably wii u will beat the holy crap out of them in terms of truly and genuinely new types of gameplaying.)everyone knows how 'optimisations' do wonders for consoles, and with even nimble improvements one can get hugely improved graphics, here the 'nimble' improvements would be the better gpu,a delicious 32 MB eDRAM,and the1 GB general RAM.even if the cpu is only as powerful as the one in the ps3 or the xbox, still i can almost guarantee that developers will find a way to leverage this new hardware and find ways to circle around the cpu limitations(if they even exist in the first place,i hardly think one should believe these 'rumors',i will wait for some official release of specs).

some current games to be excited about(you may have played some of these on the ps3 or xbox already, but wii u does offer new genuine reasons to experience them with the gamepad and/or wii remote nunchuk combo):

1. Assasins Creed 3
2. Mass Effect 3
3. Batman Arkham City Armoured Edition
4. Zombi U
5. Rayman Legends
6. Sonic Racing
7. Trine 2
8. Ninja Gaiden 3
9. Pikmin 3
10. DarkSiders 2
11. Tekken Tag Tournament
12. Black Ops 2
13. Fifa 13
12. Madden 13
13. NBA 2k13

the launch titles already have amazing graphics,i wonder how much honey the devs will be able to extract from this baby over time.

There is no news at all of India's launch date and what i know it would take some long time.

The Wii does not have a video player but the browser can stream MP4 files over your network.

I might buy this in a couple of weeks (definitely before Rayman Legends comes out). I mostly only buy exclusives on consoles, so these look interesting to me

Rayman Legends
The Wonderful 101
Pikmin 3
NSMB Wii U
Lego City: Undercover - Sandbox Lego game should be good fun.
Bayonetta 2!

i just hope it doesn't cost 30k at launch.well at least now mentioning the word "wii" at a nerd(gasm) party wouldn't embarrass me. let's just become Nintendo nuts.(see that alliteration?do not question my literary genius)

ZombiU has been interesting! From what I gather, this title is similar to the Souls titles in terms of the challenge and the overall gameplay plus the survival-horror part.

Bayonetta 2 is exclusive to the WiiU as well. :(

^^zombiU also utilises the gamepad's gyroscope/accelerometer to generate decent augmented reality effects..the most amazing point is
that now games won't just be limited to a controller(that is so 7th gen),now devs will incorporate touch with motion controls all the while having great visuals!!,is this nerdgasm or what?
