Wii - Where to get it from?

Hi,

A friend of mine is returning from the US and is planning to get a Wii from there.
Was wondering if there would be any compatibilty issues with a Wii from there when used here? Would we get games etc. for that play here etc.?

Appreciate any help info this from Wii owners.

Im US you get two kind of Wii - PAL and NTSC-U .. The Region for india is PAL .. You will only get PAL games here .. So make sure that he gets a PAL Will ..
Other than that there are no compatibility issues here .. But the problem with Wii is that u wont find the latest games here in India .. Also the accessories for Wii are too expensive in india so i suggest you get a Wiimote/Wii motion plus too.

Can we get the latest games from any sites here?

Is the Wii available in Reliance Digital / Croma officially in India? Or are they also 'modded' versions?

Also is it better to get in US or from here?
