I want to know will 1kva online ups work with 150ah batteries ?

one more thing will using two 3yr old battery n 1 new cause problems ?

Yes to both of your queries. But you'll need to check with the UPS manufacturer if it has a capable circuit to recharge/detect 150ah batteries.
 
There is no UPS or inverter that can detect the capacity of the battery,at best it can detect the voltage.

You can add as many batteries in parallel or increase the capacity of the battery but the charge time will increase .

^^ you just cannot add whimsical amount of batteries in parallel or series to change the capacity of a UPS... unless and until UPS knows (has a circuit) what it's handling.
 
Common UPS/Inverters come with either 12v or 24v charging circuits. Based on that, it could be either 1 or 2 batteries.

But the AH rating of the battery does not matter i.e One can use a single battery for a 12v charging circuit be it 100AH or 150AH
