Laptops Will 8gb soldered ram work in dual channel if I put another 16gb

For memory to run in dual channel the capacity, speed and latency should match to other memory. Also the slot placement matters in a motherboard so not sue how that would work in your case. If original installed memory is 8GB you cannot install 16gb and expect it to run in dual channel. Also if the speed of the original memory does not match to installed memory the RAM speed will drop to the lowest speed for the memory type, like it may drop the speed for DDR5 to 3200MHz.

If you are using windows run this in command prompt

wmic MemoryChip get MemoryType, Name, Capacity, Configuredclockspeed, DeviceLocator, FormFactor, Manufacturer, Serialnumber, Speed

Mine shows this. 5600Mhz rated DDR5 running at 5200Mhz. Although the Manufacturer is different the OEM is same Hynix.

soldered one is 8gb 3200mhz and i want to add 16gb 3200 mhz.
i heared about flex mode in which the first 16gb would run in dual channel the rest in single channel so wanted to check does my laptop support it or not as i cant find anything about it on internet

I've done this and it works fine but like the above poster said if it's same ram with same speed and same latency switching becomes easier for the os andyou get much more of a bossy , doesn't mean extra ram doesn't help . I did see noticable difference from having two 8gb sticks in two slots to one 8 one 16 but that boost isn't as big as switching from one to two 8gb sticks for example.

To answer your question laptop will 100 percent support it only question is gains you will get using a second 16gb stick rather than 8 gigs one but that's upon Os and how it handles ducal channels , I would say go for it though if price isn't an issue.
