Will Airtel Refund my Money???? - Please Help

Hi Friends,

I own Airtel DSL Connection with 128 KBps Speed :ashamed:. When I took the Connection I was on a 64 KBps Plan, then I Top-up my Connection with 100/- and Speed is now 128 KBps :ashamed:

When I took the Connection, they charged me 600/-. They said 200/- is Non-Refundable and 400/- will be refundable. So is this 400/- is for MODEM?

Some says that you will not get any refunds as you have Purchased MODEM for Rs. 400/- and somedays when you apply for Disconnection, they will take the MODEM Back and then refund you 400/-

Please Clear :)

P.S I haven't called CC as I have standalone Connection without Land Line. Kindly Help :)

Dont bother. They will neither take the modem back, nor refund the money.

At best, you can fight with them endlessly for refund.

But as far as my experience goes with them (in Delhi and Mumbai), they never came back to reclaim the modem. I donated them to friends when I upgraded to WiFi routers.
 
Well, depends. In ma place, they gave me 500 as refund and didn't even take back the modem and phone. I called them to take it but no one bothered.
Then, I sold modem and telephone for some more refund...:rofl:

i got the refund and when they came to get modem... i showed them a finger and shouted at them .. i still use that modem :)

I dont think that is something to be proud of.

You are basically cheating the company. If they have no interest in taking it back, then it's fine. But you shouting them and forcing them not to take it is just sad.
 
2 years back i quit their service..they took the fone and modem and told that i'll get a Rs500 check by courier/post...but till date it hasn't arrived..

if ur lucky enough,u'll get the refund..else forget it.

These assholes charged me 22k for the month before.... i had to make 20 rounds of their office and they had even sent some goons to extract money..

Finally they admitted that it was their mistake ..
