CPU/Mobo Will i5 6600 be good enough for 3060 Ti?

Do you already have a PC with this processor? Then get the card, there's no harm in it. At worst, you'll get few FPS lower due to processor bottleneck.

Based on Passmark rating, this processor has similar single threaded performance to Ryzen 1600x (multi-threaded is much lower though). And many people are still using 1600x. You can upgrade the processor motherboard RAM later when you have the cash.

If you don't have it and are thinking of buying used, I'd recommend getting something like Ryzen 3600 or at least an 8th gen Intel processor. Even a 10th gen i3 will be better. So take your call accordingly.

will i5 6600 be a good enough processor for this GPU??
No, you need i5 12400/R5 5600 IMO. So new CPU, mobo & RAM.

If you plan to upgrade the PC soon, say in next 6 months or so, then no harm in buying 3060Ti or even better 6750XT now. Then save & upgrade other parts later.

Sww how the old R5 2600 struggles in gaming fps beyond RX5700. 6750XT is close to 2080Ti like performance, 3060Ti is 10% behind or so. The difference in fps between R5 2600 & i9 9900K is too huge with 2080Ti, can expect similar big gains moving from i5 6600 + 6750XT to R5 5600 + 6750XT.

na bro, I have i3-6100 no GPU, I used to play csgo casually.

CS2 won't run on this, that's why I was thinking to get i5 6500/6600 if I can get hands on.

for GPU I was thinking to get rx6600 or 1660 super/ti until I buy a new PC altogether

that's really detailed insights.

I play eSports titles only, so mid tier cards would be fine enough with incremental upgrades down the line with a new PC
