Mac OS will mac os install in my PC?

configuration is
view sonic 19 inch
asus motheroard ( AM2NF6G-VSTA )
160 gb hdd
dvd writer
amd athlon 64 x2 dual core processor 4000+ 2.11Ghz
ddr2 4 GB
1 GB ati radeon 4670 graphics card
will mac os install in this if yes which version to download?

my purpose of installing is to use final cut pro, motion, sound pro...
please suggest me and guild me with a procedure to install it... thanks:)
 
In the CPU tab, look if you see SSE2 somewhere (if you also see SSE3, congratulations, you have the perfect CPU!).

hey!!so i tried installing iATKOS v7 by giving cpus=1 busratio=20 -v at boot n it starts loading then i format using journal and used diff combinations of drivers but while installing it shows kernal panic what do i do?
 
As per your configuration i think ideneb will work wonderful for you.
I had similar config and could get it to work using ideneb
iPC 10.5.7 is also ok if you bother to try
 
I tried working on it and then finally gave up !! It even messed up my boot-loader so had to re-install windows 7.

7 GB download + 1 DL-DVD down the drain... :(
 
LOL my room-mate has been desperately trying to install OSX since the past 2 months and he hasn't given up yet. :P

His machine is an Athlon II X2 240 on the Biostar 785G motherboard. He has a IDE based DRU810A dvd burner and going by his words, one needs a SATA DVD burner to install OSX - don't flame me - I've no clue!

Just curious but has anyone tried installing OSX on such a machine before?
 
hackintosh is where you shud be looking. even if u get it to work most things i.e drivers dont exist. if u don't want to waste time why not try running it within VMware . it worked for me
 
freshseasons1 can u tell me which version of ideneb u used?ill download the same one b'cuz i don wanna download again n again....thanks..
 
if you already have the iATKOS v7, try using VMWare Workstation/VMPlayer and install it on a virtual machine. search online for exact steps to follow.
