Will my friend have to pay customs, if he gets computer parts for me from the US ??

Oh. So there is no way to be sure of this ? How does randomly charging people for customs work out for our govt ?
 
assume that you have to pay customs by default. if you're lucky then only you will get around without paying.
 
He won't have to pay of he says it's for his personal use. Moreover ask to remove some packaging to be doubly sure as then they would be also sure there is no scope for resale.
