I suppose Itanium was not out in mid-90s? I think it's more like 2000+ ?blr_p said:Itanium was the first to support 64-bit addressing in the mid-90s but i'm under the impression any x-64 compliant chip will handle it and will be equipped with a mobo + BIOS that is EFI compatible.
