Win 7 Build 7057 Installation

Hi
Was installing windows 7 build 7057. But it hangs on the "Completing Installation" step after the reboot. I noticed that this happens right after it possibly detects the graphics card (Intel X4500) and changes the resolution. Anyone else with the same problem?
 
Just want to know.. where did you get windows 7 build 7057

Its not officially released. I will suggest you to install windows 7 Build 7000
 
Well, I have used 7000, 7057, 7068.

7000 gave me the least no. of issues.

7057 had the exe issue, 7068 is simply way too buggy.

WMP acting funny, encountering tcpip.sys bsod on certain occasions, explorer thumbnails are screwed, dell KB MM keys aren't working anymore(driver issue).

Stick with 7000 or wait for RC.

Never download windows OS from torrent source. Download only from official source.

Only version 7000 is available for public beta test..... I will again suggest you to install win7 build 7000....

Or wait for win7 RC.
Windows 7 RC is set for release on April 10, 2009
 
Heeded your advice, ravi. Went to Buid 7000. But still had the damn problem. Install hung at the Completing Installation step. Googled around and found that somehow erasing the whole disk and installing with a single partition does the trick. Was fuming over such a hack. But then, it worked, and so typing this from under water :)

7057 is RC1 !!! Atleast the info on the bottom right corner says so.

where did you get it from? (7068)
 
Apparently, build 7100 has been compiled as of yesterday and is the RC. Waiting for it to leak and I will try and get it. :ohyeah:
