Win 7 Refresh Rates

Hi,

First if its already asked I couldnt find.

I am using Benq E2200HD and CoreI7 based System

on the 1920 by 1080 resolutions the refresh rates available to me are only 59 and 60 Hz.

Earlier on a Vista I could go to a 72 Hz easily. With that low refresh rates it isnt comforting for the eye.

If any one has faced similar problem or has solution do help

Use Powerstrip. The new one works well in Windows 7 with the 190.xx Nvidia Drivers.

If an LCD can only support upto 60Hz on 1080p then I dont think a s/w would give you 72Hz..
though I could be wrong

With powerstrip, you can force reso/refresh rates

my monitor can support 76Hz but win 7 is only giving option of upto 60

well powerstrip crashed a couple of times too

Dude, i dont think win 7 is a problem, I get 75Hz as refresh rate, so must be ur monitor's limitation

my friend u know the monitor ... n also at Vista i was getting it... u gave me 7 u know better
