Win 7 - stuck on classic theme

Hi,

I've been using Win 7 since quite some time, but about a week ago - after I uninstalled Oracle - which was installed about a month ago, I've been stuck on the classic theme.

The theme is set to classic whenever I reboot the pc, then when I go to services.msc, and restrart the 'Themes' service, the theme switches to Aero, but when I reboot, I'm back on classic.

Anyone has a solution ?

Did you try system restore. Comodo in my case used to cause a lot of havoc on paranoid mode. If you've that on your machine. Try disabling and trying it again...
 
try to do that performance rating thing refresh once.. it would let you know if there are any issues with your gfx or not.. then i think we should take it up.. lets assume your gfx drivers gone bad ..

and if above does not work.. try find and fix your problems
 
There are some software that turn off Windows Aero. Try disabling any Oracle service running and re-enabling Aero to check if that is the issue here.
