I've upgraded from Win 7 to Win 10 on my old machine, if you have x64 then you can update to x64 only, I've not faced any issues, There were some drivers which needed to update but that depends on the hardware, you may or may not need to update the drivers. Almost all programs were working after the update.Running Win 7 x64 Ultimate
Anyone upgraded (read as installed over) Win7 to Win10 ? How was it? Any issues you faced? Programs/drivers not working ?
Between win7 / win 10 which one would you recommend.
Can you share one or two incidents when you felt compelled to go back. Just to understand the magnitude of issuesI still feel sometimes going back to win7.
I've disabled the Windows Update service for the same reason, there's also a small portable app which stops Microsoft to automatically download updates and allows you to choose and update them manually. When MS was trying to download creators update over a 1mbps connection.
Now,there is a workaround by setting the connection to metered connection but the MS is going to remove this feature as well in new updates.
