win xp recovery disc ????

i need to ask whether we can make win xp recovery disc from the installed xp in the system ... prob is i didnt get my cd when i bought the system ... its hp with preinstalled xp ... original ... so now i need to reinstall xp and want to try vista in the system but i dont have the xp cd ... so ... will it be posiible .. any way ... any software to make it possible .....

You mean any way to make backup of current installation so that you may use it to install XP later?I don't think it can be done.You will need windows disk to install it.

u can make an image of ur current os using any software

i use hiren boot cd rom to boot the system and make image using norton ghost!!
