While installing windows 7, I receive the following error " No driver detected. Search the drivers...." What is the problem? I searched the net, but cant find the answer?:@

Also when tried installing Win XP from USB Drive, I got the error NTLDR missing? How to solve them both....

I have Win Xp installed. Have DVD And harddisk, both on SATA. Bios conf. is default. Motherboard : Asus.

1) Set first boot device to DVD in BIOS setting.
2) Restart computer. Do you get a message saying "press any key to boot from CD or DVD"
3) If you have two or more hard disk, make sure you are installing win 7 on primary hark disk.
4) Win 7 can be installed only on a NTFS formatted drive.

Make sure BIOS detects these drives and while installation USB should be enabled and supported in BIOS.

If its an older mobo & chipset then SATA controllers may not have native support & you will need additional drivers for SATA controllers to work.. .
