Linux Window Snap effect in Ubuntu 10.4/Gnome?

I have ability to tile windows in Mac,Windows 7 and KDE as well. But didn't figure out a way to do this in gnome.

Any idea how to do this?

Have you checked compizconfig-settings-manager applet for possible settings there in window placement/behaviour section?

Not in my CCSM (ubuntu 10.10) but googling seems to have some interesting links:

Doh, just realised after updating to ubuntu 11.04 that gnome has this window "aero" snap working by default on my desktop !

Also KDE 4.6 (KWin) has similar feature working already...
