90K+ Windows 2 in 1 alternatives for Surface Pro 4

I originally planned to get the Surface Pro 4, but as my sister is planning to come to India by 20th of this month (models that I was looking for not available) and also as presently there are some issues being reported for Surface Pro 4, I am looking for alternative 2 in 1's that might fit the bill.

I am aware that Surface Pro 4 is going to be launched in India in Jan, but I am not too sure about the prices here. I suspect that the prices will be at least 50~75% higher than the price in US.

My requirements are

Detachable type preferred, but folding type is also fine as long as weight < 1.3 KG.
Skylake CPU's Preferred
8/16GB RAM
256/512GB SSD
Battery life > 8 hours

Budget is $1600, can extend a wee bit if required.

Yes, Yoga 900 is one of the options that I was considering.

Another is the HP Spectre X2. There is an core m5 and m7 version of these, but I just wish they had a core i5 variant as well.

^^ All of the Core M based 2 in 1's seem to be giving poor battery life. I am planning to go for the Lenovo Yoga 900 which is apparently giving 8 hours in tests.
