Yeah, RC will start shutting down only next year july provided you have enabled your copy of Windows 7 RC....

Edit : month changed to July

I installed today only and haven't activated it yet. Thanx for the heads-up, will only do so later. Tried on my desktop and haven't found it to be anything WOW as got shitload of driver incompatibility issues with the OS. My P5Q-C's driver disc kept on giving Unsupported OS error so had to install most of the drivers under Compatibility mode. Audio drivers just failed to install even under compatibility mode, so I dread shifting from Vista to Win 7 on my laptop. :(

I'm running Win 7 beta (build 7000) :) (With Activated Product key)

No shutdowns yet, as per the web, shutdowns to begin only by July-mid..

Thats news to me. Apparently the transition from vista to Win 7 is flawless. You shouldn't be experiencing any driver issues. You must have done something wrong.
@Himanshu : The RC build of Windows 7 is supposed to shutdown in 2010 iirc.

@ Bluffy the n00b slayer

Babu, mine is a fresh install of Win 7 RC 7000 32-bit one. I formatted my 20GB partition containing XP and installed Win 7 on it. Since I haven't got the BB connection, will get it back in a day or 2, I'll go for the 64-bit new RC and see if that works. Moreover I'll even check the Asus's site for new drivers. Can anybody gimme the link from where I can download the new RC, 64-bit one?

3days left for me..using the prebeta 6xxx release..

This prebeta has a different system i think, say will shut down in 3days :S

So people start using it happily, without of worries and have fun....

dont run Auto Run. go to drivers folder and run each driver .exe with windows Vista compabibility mode. they works flawless for me... this is the best OS....
if sound disent work then download Asus Black Hawk 4.0 driver download.
now no drivers problem... OS running like charm. believe me vista is crap in front of this.... go ahead man....
