Ok i have 2 HDD, 80GB IDE as primary slave and 500GB SATA as secondry master.. xp is currently installed in 500gb.. i m trying to dual boot windows xp with windows 7 by installing 7 in another partition of the 500gb HDD.. i burned the iso to a dvd, rebooted..

when i selected a partition for installing windows 7 and click next it gives the error "setup was unable to create a new system partition or locate an existing system partition".. tried googling a bit but results are confusing..

Any ideas? Thanks in advance! :)

The dvd i m using was burned at the lowest speed possible (4x).. when the system can read the dvd i doubt there is a problem with the dvd..
