Windows 7 goes wild when running on battery

I have a HP pavillion dv6-1215ee laptop, it came with Windows Vista Home premium , i have installed windows 7 Ultimate and also Ubuntu Linux, now the issue is the windows 7 works well and fine when running on A/C power , but when the A/c power is removed , sometimes it works fine for say 10-15 minutes and suddenly it will act weird , too sluggish , clicks take minutes to respond... but when i run Ubuntu , it works very fine, no issues at all, i have all the updates installed on windows 7 , still the issues persists... any solution friends...???

No solution for that.

I had the same problem with Windows 7 Home Basic, Premium and Professional. with my Desktop and with my Msi X340

I gave up and went back to Windows Vista.

It feels even faster than Windows 7 itself.

You could try changing the power settings. Scrensaver > power settings

Change the power settings to MAZ POWER while on AC or on BATTERY.
