Confirmations have started rolling in about the possible leak on several torrent sites for the Windows 7 RC build 7100. The leak is for the x86 version at the moment with a promise that the x64 is coming very soon.

The term release candidate (RC) refers to a version with potential to be a final product, ready to release unless fatal bugs emerge. In this stage of product stabilization (read QA cycle), all product features have been designed, coded and tested through one or more Beta cycles with no known showstopper-class bug.

More about it, here.

The x64 version has now been leaked too.

The RC will activate using the BETA key and will be valid upto June, 2010.

Downloading both versions. :eek:hyeah:

what have u got to lose ?

I couldn't delete any *.exe in build 7057.

In 7068 my printer + Dell MM KB(volume dial+mm keys) sometimes stops working citing driver issues in, all the thumbnails are messed up.

WMP gives out garbage at times + tcpip.sys BSOD on power fluctuation.

So before jumping in to a new/unknown pool of bugs, I wanna know their no and kind.

I should hav stuck with 7000.
