Windows 8 CP Desktop Gadgets stopped working !

Hi there, I installed Windows8 Consumer Preview recently. It worked just fine for a day. The next day when I switch on my PC, an error pops and

it says :

"Windows Desktop Gadgets has stopped working, A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."

Any solutions ?
 
hmm..seems like an unusual problem.... i had windows 8 for about 3 weeks.. no problems.. whats you computer specs??? is there any hardware on your system that is not being supported by default?? because all of my hardware was supported by default in windows 8..didnt have to install any drivers. .or maybe you screwed up some setting??? do you remember making any??
 
I suppose, my specs aren't underpowerd. It's as follows : Intel Core i5-460M, Intel HD Graphics, 1366x768 display, 4 GB DDR3 Memory, 500 GB HDD

I didn't mess with any settings nor did I change a thing. It was a clean installation. I too didn't have to install any drivers. I just installed Firefox, and Nokia Suite and left rest of the installations for the next day. Next day, I was just browsing through internet and switched off my PC. After few hours, I turned it on again, and this error showed up ! I just don't get what the problem might be.

I too have past experience of Windows 8 CP. I had it running for 5 days two weeks ago, got fed up with the Metro Style UI and removed and reinstalled Windows 7. I didn't have such problem before. I felt like trying it once again and installed it yesterday. Now, I find this awful problem

well.. then i cant even think of a problem causing this. let alone a solution.. sometimes it just gets too difficult to figure why some problem has occurred out of the blue.. i'd suggest not to waste a lot of time racking your brains over this.. just format once again.. wont take more than 15 min. i guess. .
