Windows Mobile 7.0-overview

They were forced to implement such features due to the launch of iphone.So,they are still trying to "emulate" their competitors.Ofcourse, adding few new features like motion gestures etc. was a must otherwise it would have been termed a blatant rip-off of OS X on iphone! Still ,I would be interested in following the developments on WM 7! Heres hoping it will work on my HTC Wizard (although chances are very bleak) :D

I sure hope that you've used iPhone in person... before saying that. Even then, this is just a preview, I wouldn't make comment unless I've used it.

Not being a fanboy, it's just that it really suxx when people make hard comments on something they haven't used in person (yet, make it sound like they have used it)
 
by the time this is installed in any mobile phone the newer version of iphone will be out which will kill any other phone in the market....

yes. i have an iphone in my family (bro uses it) and well i think WM7.0 is far more better OS than iphone's and yes i think by the time WM7 comes out, there will be a better version of iphone.. maybe iphone 2 :hap2:
 
^^Apart from open-sdk (which iphone will soon have) and huge library of softwares(iphone will have that soon too :) ), what other areas do you think WM 7.0 has an advantage over iphones OS X ?
 
Doesnt look very impressive...
S60 touch ui looks far better..or maybe it might just be the pic...

As for iphone, its OS is simple...whereas the Wm will be for smartphones...thus comparision is not valid i guess...it should be more like s60touch ui better or wm7...
 
^^And what does a smartphone mean according to you? Isnt Iphone a smartphone too? Haha..come on man,that comparison is just not valid! Dont tell me about the sdk coz its gonna come out soon for the iphone.

And iphone's OS X is simple ? you mean user-friendly right ?

Theres no comparison between UIQ (It is not S60 Touch UI as you call it) and WM too.WM wins hands down there.The real comparison would be between iphone's OS X and Windows Mobile!
