Windows phone mango[7.5] can't enable settings for net

I own a Samsung focus SGH-I917 a windows phone 7 or 7.5 in India, and I recently tried to use a Idea net plan Rs 149 one. I got the message that it has been activated and I was to send a message SET to some number to get my settings. I sent it, and got a message some time later to accept some new available settings, and I selected accept. But sometime later I got the message that 'your phone settings couldn't be changed'.

In the settings there is only cellular in which there is service provider which has Idea, I can turn data connection on and off[tried with both], network selector which is set to auto and an option 'Add APN'.

Please help me on this.. :(
 
click on add apn, type 'internet' in the name and apn field and save it, thats it .

Btw for your kind info, focus always comes with 3G option enabled which hogs more battery and is useless until you are really intend to use it. It can be disabled however from the debug menu, you can google more about this :)
