@ challapradyumna - I doubt it. PHP/MySQL are third party. ANd MS likes to charge for MSSQL.

Thanks for the screen shots. I am really liking the UI. Especially the fact that I can use my home screen for something useful without it looking like an ugly collection of links/folders.
I did have a few questions.
1) Are you using a UEFI enabled motherboard? What boot times are you seeing?
2) Is the Storage Spaces (drive extender type feature) included? Have you used it?
3) Does the new task manager show what the actual service using resources is (instead of just srvchost.exe)?
4) Any improvements in the windows scheduler functionality?

But no edition of MS Server ever comes with bundled software except for SBS (Small Business Server) series which comes with exchange & MS SQL
you shouldn't expect MS to bundle 3rd party tools as mysql & php.. although they are pretty easy to install & configure.

1) No I have a GA-880 GM UD2H motherboard, i dont think it supports UEFI. I haven't installed it on my physical machine, I use VMware Workstation
2) Yes there are Stroage Spaces Extender feature... I haven't got to test it yet.. will let you know later
3) there is small drop down arrow in front of a exe running if you expand that it will show you the services its using
4) I have to test Scheduler as well

Thanks Aasim, was thinking of what to install. Have decided to remove the W2K8 R2 STD and replace with this.

I agree with OP, 8 feels a lot more faster, however, did not like the visuals at all. Give me good ole W7 style anydays, especially when using a server. Also, was not able to enable the desktop experience.
That aside, 8 invalidated my copy of 7 since the boot loader got overwritten. Guess either will have to use my original key OR do a bios mod for the future.
