Yes Another thread on Vista :bleh:

I have decided to buy the Vista Home Premium Retail FPP 32bit after members have assured me and pledged their eye :P that once I have the 32bit license, MS will ship me the 64bit dvd as and when I please for < Rs.1000/-

I am going for this.

eBay India: Windows Vista Home Premium with Service Pack 1 FPP Box (item 140236663214 end time 27-Jul-2008 16:42:44 IST)

Costs Rs. 7200/-. Looking for Retail boxed FPP only.

Is this the right price? If there are any better deals please let me know.

Vij buyoriginalms.com has listed home premium sp1 at Rs 6046. You can also contact them and ask for clarifications/ about the availability of the 64bit edition.

This site also features on Microsoft India's website and hence I'm sure they are reliable.

Also this list stores appeared on Microsoft's Store Locator.

no :no: you need to contact dell/hp for any support for an OEM version.

Try it, but it depends on them whether they give u a 64 bit disc or not. :)
