Windows XP installation wired Problem ..?

Q:

3 HDD, 1 OK, other 2 refused to boot in native IDE mode, boots perfect in ACHI mode..

Rig:

AMD Athelon X3 440 + Gigabyte - 880GM-UD2H + Corsair 2 GB RAM + 3 HDD..

I have 3 HDD 160 WD (Boot Disk), 500 WD (Sec Boot Disk / Experiment Disk / Portable disk for emergency), 1TB Samsung (Data Disk),... Everything was ok. I was able to install any os on any drive.. My last config was Win XP + Win 7 in 160 GB @ 50 + 50 GB partition... one XP installation in 500 GB single partition .. All are running in native IDE mode not tried / aware abt ACHI mode ..

Recently I made some changed removed 160 & 1 tb (to keep bootloader safe) then I Replaced 500 tb xp with win 8 dev preview .. used for some time liked .. I am using 500 tb as portable drive as I liked win 8 i replced win xp from 160 GB .. also now no XP one 7 and 2 win 8 installation .. Working fine ... Win 8 Rocks faster booting good exp...

Prob & Mess Starts ..

I purchased Enter USB TV Card.... This card is not working in Win 7 & win 8 tried every thing though driver installs perfectly but refuse to initialize device .. tried on friends XP machine works well .. so ...

Now I want to use XP again.. Create new 10 GB partition from 500 gb (Shrink 10 GB)... Tried to install XP using Qemu Manager, USB Media & CD media.. Removed 2 HDD... 1TB & 160 GB tried to install XP on 10 GB partition @500 GB HDD, no luck after setup copy (setup's first restart) HDD refused to boot no 8 no xp setup tried 2-3 diff media 1 new media.... no luck tried WinToFlash 2 diff usb drive install same error same setup is not starting HDD refused to boot..

Tried same on 1 TB HDD.. same error .. After no of experiments I read that win 8 bootloader is different it changes setting from BIOS.. tried resetting BIOS to default no luck .. Suddenly i tried change in SATA mode from IDE to ACHI .. Wow my win XP setup starts but after flashing logo blue screen error .. again googled found you have to integrate sata ACHI driver in xp setup using nLite...

On win 7 front refused to boot restarts in ACHI mode works perfect in IDE mode..

Now my Q is why my 1 TB & 500 GB HDD is not booting in IDE mode... ?

Both stuck @ Loading Operating System .. In ACHI mode.. Boots Setup Starts but no installation .. BSOD... asks for chkdsk /f

How I can stabilize my system .. ? any solutions .. ?

I want all 3 OS for some time ....

Firstly, please re write the entire post. Not many people are going to go through it to help you.

Now, there is no need to integrate SATA driver in XP if booting through IDE mode. Only in AHCI mode, its needed.

As for why its not working, just connect one drive at a time to the computer. Disconnect the other two.

IMO, W7 and W8 will work even if you change the AHCI <--> IDE modes. Only XP will not work.

As for the TV Tuner not working, you might be using w7 64 bit version. Usually, for such cards, no drivers are there.

As for the TV Tuner not working, you might be using w7 64 bit version. Usually, for such cards, no drivers are there.

I am using all Win versions @ 32 bit only ..

Q is how to enable 500 GB & 1 TB HDD to boot in IDE mode... Should I try some GRUB or any linux boot loader or any thing like ..

Win 8 boot loader problem ... fixboot, fixmbr bootrec does not remove win 8 boot loader

Got Solution, full format 10 GB partition, change active partition to 10 GB wow win xp working now ..

I have 1 TB hdd and face the same problem unable to install windows xp after installing windows 7. I aslo try integrating drivers to xp but unable to run windows xp, bacause of BSOD.

I have taken the help from the iGennie technicians for the Microsoft Windows vista support they fix my problem now i am able to boot from booth windows.
